📱 Optimise Your Profile.
Your Instagram name (not your username) is actually SEARCHABLE. This means you can add keywords that your ideal clients would likely to be searching for on Instagram, so that they can find your profile. Think, what would your ideal client search for if they were looking for YOU?
This is the easiest way to start attracting ideal clients and customers on autopilot.
📽️ Reels.
You’re probably tired of hearing this, it’s no secret that Reels have the power to reach a wider audience. I recommend adding at least 2 or 3 week into your content strategy, especially if you’re looking for visibility.
PS - the head of Instagram just announced they're now favouring ORIGINAL content. So make sure you're not just jumping on trends.
✍️ Carousels.
Did you know that carousels can appear in your audiences feeds more than once? If your audience doesn’t swipe through all of the images the first time, Instagram will show it to them in their feed again, meaning more visibility for you.
🤝 Collaborations.
Collaborating with others in your niche will help you reach a wider audience as you’ll get a chance to tap into their audience. You’ll also appear as a person of trust to their audience if you appear to have a good relationship with them. Instagram has made it easier for us to collaborate and share each others feeds, but lives are also a great option for this.
🔎 Hashtags.
Hashtags aren’t what they used to be on Instagram and I don’t stress over them, but of course it’s still worth adding niche hashtags to your post.
Focus on using hyper specific hashtags. Don't just use #smallbusiness - these are too broad... And you're probably only going to attract other small businesses.
But most importantly, you need to face that you cannot explode your account overnight. However you can grow your account consistently by posting intentionally and analysing your content.
